Stopping the Stigma: a national movement for cannabis education, awareness, and collaboration
Hello GCS Community,
We are excited to share that Global Cannabinoid Solutions (GCS) will be proudly supporting and participating in Medical Cannabis Awareness Month this November — a momentous, industry-wide national campaign bringing the entire British medical cannabis community together.
Across the month, organisations from every corner of the sector — from clinics and pharmacies to pharmaceutical producers and patient advocates — will each be producing their own educational narratives around cannabinoid medicine. Together, we’ll be shaping a shared story that highlights the science, the people, and the purpose driving this field forward.
This coordinated effort represents the largest collaborative educational campaign the UK medical cannabis industry has ever undertaken. It’s a true show of unity — one focused on breaking stigma, promoting responsible understanding, and driving progress through evidence and compassion.
How GCS Is Getting Involved
Throughout November, we’ll be publishing updates, science features, and awareness content here in the GCS community — and across our social channels.
We’re also honored to announce the release of a four-part mini interview series — “The Science Behind The Stories” (SBTS) — a heartfelt collaboration created to support our partner charity, Intractable, and the End Our Pain campaign.
The Science Behind The Stories series is a conversation with healthcare experts exploring the science behind the stories — the families whose children’s lives now depend on cannabinoid medicines. These are the same families who once fought to change the law that enabled the UK cannabis industry to exist — yet today, many face tremendous private costs for these life-saving medicines, and they need your support.
We’ll be using this series to share their stories, raise awareness, and celebrate their strength — while spotlighting the science that continues to evolve thanks to their courage.
