Instead of our usual GCS Network Live session, we’ll be meeting in person this Thursday at the CTA Medical Mixer in London and we’d love you to join us.
We’ve secured a limited number of final spaces for the GCS Lab community, along with a 20% discount on tickets.

Welcome to the GCS Lab!
We created this video to help introduce you to the story behind Global Cannabinoid Solutions and the GCS LAB.
🧠 What This video Covers
-Why most cannabis failures are intelligence failures, not execution failures
-Why traditional approaches (universities, consultants, internal R&D) break down in cannabis -What Scientific Cannabis Intelligence (SCI) actually is — and why it’s not “education.”
-How The GCS Lab functions as a virtual scientific intelligence layer for organisations
-How clinics, operators, executives, boards, and patients benefit from applied intelligence
-How organisations can build world-class scientific capability without physical labs, R&D teams, or long research cycles
If you have any questions or need any help, you can comment them below or use the chat in the corner, and one of the GCS lab team will be glad to assist.

Hello everyone 👋
We wanted to share a quick update with the GCS community and say thank you for being part of what we’re building.
This week, we released a new short video introducing The GCS Lab — not as a training platform, but as something broader and more ambitious.
At its core, The GCS Lab exists to solve a persistent problem in the cannabis sector:
We don’t lack science — we lack clear, usable ways to apply it in real-world decisions.
The Lab has been designed as an applied intelligence environment where cannabinoid science is translated into clarity, confidence, and organisational capability across healthcare, industry, and leadership contexts.
In the video, we outline:
why cannabis still feels complex and risky despite decades of research
the difference between knowledge and intelligence
how The Lab is built to turn science into something professionals can actually use
👉 Watch the video here:https://youtu.be/oKYwrZT7oYU
As Lab members, you’re not just accessing content — you’re part of an evolving intelligence ecosystem.
Over the coming weeks, you’ll start to see:
new applied intelligence pathways
research-informed tools and frameworks
opportunities to participate in Lab-led initiatives that help shape how cannabinoid science is understood and applied
We’re building this with the sector, not for it.
More details on our first applied Lab initiative will follow shortly — but for now, we wanted to share the bigger picture and invite your thoughts.
If you’ve watched the video, we’d genuinely love to hear:
what resonated
what feels missing in current cannabis education
where clarity would make the biggest difference in your work
Thank you for being part of The GCS Lab.
This is only the beginning.

Hi everyone — quick update for the community.
With the new GPhC report highlighting some major gaps across the sector, we opened a Black Friday window for GreenShield Pro so teams can get trained properly before the new year.
If you use the code GSPRO-BF20, you can get the full program for £200 instead of £250, and clinics can save even more with the group options — 5 passes for £750 instead of £1250 or 10 passes for £1500 instead of £2500.
The deadline is this Monday, the 1st, at lunchtime, and the offers come down at 12 pm sharp, so if you’ve been waiting to get your team certified, this is the lowest cost it’ll be.
Just drop a message if you need the link or more details.
We’re incredibly proud to recognise extraordinary dedication to cannabis science, education, and community safety. This year’s awardees have truly set a new standard, each honour hard-earned and richly deserved.
Full reveal coming very soon. Stay tuned. 👀
Global Cannabinoid Solutions (GCS) is proud to announce the public release of the UK’s first Endocannabinoid System (ECS) Induction Program — a landmark step in making cannabinoid science accessible to all.
Originally developed for our medical partners, this program has now been declassified as part of our ongoing mission to transform the cannabis sector through digital science and open access to knowledge.
The ECS — the body’s hidden regulatory system controlling pain, mood, sleep, and appetite — lies at the heart of cannabinoid medicine. Yet, it remains one of the least understood systems in modern healthcare. Our new digital induction bridges that gap, translating decades of research into practical understanding for professionals, patients, and innovators alike.
Led by GCS Founder & CEO, Chris Tasker, this training marks a pivotal moment for scientific literacy in cannabis, giving every learner the foundation to engage confidently with cannabinoid-based therapeutics.
“Our goal has always been to democratize cannabinoid science. By digitizing our medical programs, we’re putting the best research directly into the hands of those shaping the future of this industry,” says Dr. Tasker.
The ECS Induction Program is now available through CannabisScienceTraining.com, continuing GCS’s mission to empower innovation through Scientific Cannabis Intelligence (SCI).

In this video, we break down Donald Trump’s latest Truth Social post about cannabis and dive into the science behind his claims — especially how it connects to the endocannabinoid system and elderly health.
Whether you're shocked, curious, or skeptical, we bring the receipts and science to back it up. If you care about the future of cannabis regulation, harm reduction, or unlocking longevity through cannabinoid science — this one's for you.
After you watch, drop your take. Do you agree? Disagree? Got questions, ideas, or a completely different angle? We want to hear it.
Dear GCS Members,
We’re bringing you an important industry update following the CTA’s latest briefing with the Food Standards Agency (FSA) on CBD products (July 1, 2025).
🔍 What’s New?
The FSA has clarified safety expectations and labelling requirements for CBD products under the novel foods framework:
Key Updates Include:
THC Limits: Max 1mg of THC per container.
Label Must Include:
Daily intake advisory of 10mg for isolated CBD.
Statement on whether the product is an isolate or full-spectrum.
Age warning (not for under 18s).
Pregnancy warning.
Storage instructions.
Although the 10mg advisory is not enforceable by law, it’s considered best practice.
🚫 Reformulation Not Mandatory (Yet)
Companies are not required to reformulate immediately. However, doing so now can ease the path to full authorisation by autumn 2026.
🌱 Innovation Still Possible
Concerns that only tweaks to existing products would be allowed were addressed. New product SKUs will be reviewed using the same safety criteria—keeping the door open for innovation.
🛍️ Retailer Support on the Way
The FSA will release educational materials for retailers to help them understand and communicate these changes to customers.
📌 Why It Matters
Updating your product range and labels now allows you to:
Maintain market access.
Fast-track new compliant products.
Prepare for international market alignment.
✅ What Should You Do Now?
Audit your product line: Check THC levels and label compliance.
Plan reformulations: Especially for any products needing updates.
Watch for the isolated CBD consultation: GCS will notify you when this opens.
Engage with retailer training tools when they launch.
As always, GCS is here to support with tailored insights and SCI-led compliance strategies.
